About the Chanel J12 Ceramic Watches
The Chanel brand is the legendary pioneering French fashion. Its founder, Coco Chanel was born in 1883 and first established the house of Chanel in 1909 by opening her first millinery shop, called Chanel Modes in Paris. Coco Chanel retained the role of chief designer for the company until her death in 1971. Arguably she was the most influential figure in the history of 20th century fashion. The fashion house in her name is still on top of fashion, haute couture, fragrances and accessories including timepieces which are completely unique designed, fashionable, and luxurious. The most popular Chanel J12 line makes it to be one of the hottest brands all over the world.
In 1987, the creative director of Chanel, Jacques Helleu designed the first watch of this brand, which was called “Premire”. The elegance, sophistication and avant-garde style made it live up to its original brand name. The Chanel watches were able to keep the reputation as that Chanel clothing already had. As the Premire watches were successfully favored by worldwide people, Chanel launched its J12 ceramic watch line in the year of 2000 which continued to evolve thus being benchmark for a lot of Number 1s in the world. Soon later, Chanel J12 became well known as a fine jewelry watch. In 2005, Chanel J12 was made into a class on its own. Chanel J12 watches were first to be made from scratch-resistant ceramic material also the first unisex watches which were water resistant to 200 meters.
The evolution of the Chanel J12 ceramic watches kept prospering as Chanel designers constantly developed them exclusively used new high-tech ceramic technology. They were in black color and white color; afterwards more colors like pink were available. Being added diamonds to the dials or number indicators, Chanel J12 ceramic watches looked just luxurious but also eye-captivating. They were mixed with white gold, baguette diamonds and rubies, further to highlight the charm of those watches. The Chanel Premire watches also had diamonds, but only Chanel J12 black and J12 white ceramic watches had captured both men and women as fanatics.
10 years passed, Chanel J12 line is vibrant as usual, well, even better. Recently on June 1st, 2011, Chanel launched a key addition to its J12 line – Chanel J12 Chromatic series. The newest J12 watches are made of titanium ceramic which features properties as that of ceramic but with a look as metal. Titanium ceramic reinvents the Chanel J12 ceramic watches, writing a new chapter of Chanel’s watchmaking legend.
